Bleach: Thousand-Year Blood War is set to return after a month-long hiatus, and a new trailer offers the first look at the anime’s final two episodes. The production paused its release schedule to allow more time to work on the series finale.

The video highlights the final battle against Yhwach, which is expected to be expanded from Tite Kubo’s manga. The adaptation has already altered events from the source material throughout its four cours, and the ending will follow the same approach.

Episode 49 of Bleach: Thousand-Year Blood War – The Calamity will be released on Hulu and Hulu within Disney+ on October 19 at 8:30 a.m. Pacific Time. Episode 50, the production’s final episode, will arrive on October 26 at the same time. These dates apply to the Japanese version with English subtitles.

The English dub schedule has also been announced. Episode 49 will be released on November 23 at 8:30 a.m. Pacific Time, while episode 50 will follow on November 30 at the same time.

The finale will also introduce two characters in the epilogue following the battle against Yhwach. Kazui Kurosaki will be voiced by Azusa Tachibana, while Ichika Abarai will be played by Ayaka Ohashi. The production has not yet confirmed the English dub cast or how much screen time the two characters will receive.

Although Bleach: Thousand-Year Blood War will end with these episodes, the franchise will continue to receive attention. Bleach Fes. has been announced for February in Japan as a special event celebrating the anime’s conclusion. Fans hope the occasion will bring news about a possible continuation.
