Spider-Man: Brand New Day crossed the $1 billion mark at the international box office after 12 days in theaters. The Sony and Marvel Studios film became the second-fastest release to reach the milestone outside the United States, behind only Avengers: Endgame.

With $1.67 billion worldwide, including $654.3 million in the domestic market and $1.013 billion overseas, the Destin Daniel Cretton-directed feature ranks 12th among the highest-grossing films of all time worldwide. Brand New Day is also the 16th film to surpass $1 billion outside the United States.

Its second weekend in North America brought in $144.2 million, the third-best second-weekend performance in history. Only eight films have topped $100 million at that stage. Its 10-day domestic total of $654.3 million is also the highest ever recorded by a film over that period.

The film topped the box office in most of the 67 markets where it is currently playing, across more than 72,800 screens. Its global second weekend reached $381.3 million, including $237.1 million from overseas markets.

China delivered the biggest international total of the weekend, with $29.1 million and a cumulative $186.7 million. In India, Brand New Day became the biggest Hollywood release in the country's history after earning $10.6 million over the weekend and reaching $52.8 million.

Brazil posted the best hold among the top 10 markets, falling 31% while earning $14 million over the weekend and reaching $46.9 million overall. Brand New Day is now the highest-grossing film of all time in the country, outperforming Spider-Man: No Way Home by 40% and Avengers: Endgame by 4%.
