About Wall of Frost

Wall of Frost, Creature — wall, designed by Mike Bierek first released in Jul, 2009 in the set Magic 2010 and was printed exactly in 8 different ways.

A control deck focused on stalling the opponent's creatures and slowing down their game plan would benefit from using Wall of Frost in Magic: the Gathering. While Wall of Frost is a solid defensive option, there are potentially better cards like Wall of Omens that provide card draw in addition to defense, or Propaganda which deters opponents from attacking altogether. Whether Wall of Frost should see play depends on the specific strategy and meta of the deck, but it can be a useful inclusion in the right context.

Rules

07/18/14

Wall of Frost’s ability tracks the creature, not the creature’s controller. That is, if the creature changes controllers before its first controller’s next untap step, then it won’t untap during its new controller’s next untap step.
