Aether Herder, Creature — elf artificer druid, designed by Victor Adame Minguez first released in May, 2020 in the set Aether Revolt.
This card would be beneficial in a green-based energy or token deck in Magic: the Gathering, as it provides both energy generation and token creation. While Aether Herder offers flexibility and synergy within such a deck, there may be more powerful options available depending on the specific strategy, such as Verdurous Gearhulk for token generation or Longtusk Cub for energy generation, making Aether Herder a situational choice that could see play in the right deck.

Keep careful track of how many energy counters each player has. You may do so by keeping a running count on paper, by using a die, or by any other clear and mutually agreeable method.

Some triggered abilities state that you “may pay” a certain amount of . You can’t pay that amount multiple times to multiply the effect. You simply choose whether or not to pay that amount of as the ability resolves, and no player may take actions to try to stop the ability’s effect after you make your choice.
