The second season of Made in Korea has unveiled character posters and a new trailer centered on a conflict between figures willing to risk everything for power. The story picks up nine years after the events of the first season, with Baek Ki Tae (Hyun Bin) at the height of his influence and Jang Geon Young (Jung Woo Sung) preparing a counteroffensive.

Baek Ki Hyun (Woo Do Hwan), Ki Tae's younger brother, takes a different path in his pursuit of power. The clash between the two, combined with Geon Young's plans, creates an irreversible rift and places the characters on increasingly dangerous sides.

The posters introduce the leads and other figures caught up in the escalating conflict. Oh Ye Jin (Seo Eun Soo) appears as South Korea's first female prosecutor, while Ikeda Yuji (Won Ji An) vies for leadership of his organization. Also featured are Cheon Seok Jung (Jung Sung Il), Pyo Hak Soo (Roh Jae Won), Baek So Young (Cha Hee), Madam Shin (Jang Hye Jin) and Hwang Dae Shik (Heo Jung Do).

The trailer points to a major confrontation between the Central Intelligence Agency and Joint Investigation Headquarters. “This is war now. It only ends when one side dies,” says Baek Ki Tae. In another scene, Geon Young pressures Baek Ki Hyun to choose between disappearing or making it out alive.

The tension also centers on Ki Hyun's decision over whether to betray his own brother. Oh Ye Jin says that a prosecutor must be treated as a prosecutor, regardless of whether they are a man or a woman, while other characters reveal their own alliances and threats.

With six episodes, Made in Korea 2 premieres on September 9 with Episodes 1 and 2. Two episodes will then be released every Wednesday.
