Calvin Harris has been recognized by Guinness World Records for the largest audience ever for a solo DJ set. The record followed the Scottish DJ and producer’s performance at São Paulo’s Carnival, which drew around 1.6 million people.The record was set on 8 February 2026, when Harris performed atop a sound truck on Rua da Consolação in the central area of São Paulo. The performance took place during Bloco Skol, which also featured Nattan, Xand Avião, Zé Vaqueiro and Felipe Amorim.During his set, Calvin Harris played some of his biggest hits. The playlist included “This Is What You Came For”, “One Kiss”, “I Need Your Love” and “We Found Love”, songs that marked different stages of the artist’s career in electronic music.His appearance at Carnival also featured a Brazilian touch. Harris appeared on the sound truck wearing a customized Brazil national team shirt bearing the name “Calvinho”.The crowd in São Paulo earned the DJ the record for the largest audience for a set performed by a solo artist. The milestone was tied to his performance at this year’s Carnival, on one of the main roads in the city’s central area.
