This card, Sphere of Reason, would benefit a white control deck that struggles against blue decks dealing direct damage. While it provides some protection, there are potentially better options such as Ivory Mask or Story Circle which offer more versatile protection against all sources of damage. However, if facing a lot of blue decks in the meta, Sphere of Reason could still see play as a sideboard option for specific matchups.
