This card would fit well in a Saproling tribal deck in Magic: the Gathering, where the focus is on generating and sacrificing Saproling tokens for various effects. While Savage Thallid offers a consistent source of Saprolings, there are potentially better options like Thallid Germinator or Utopia Mycon that provide additional benefits or synergies within the deck. However, Savage Thallid could still see play in a casual or budget Saproling deck for its simplicity and effectiveness in creating a token army.
