A deck that benefits from Rescue in Magic: the Gathering is one that focuses on utilizing enter-the-battlefield triggers or protecting key permanents. Decks with creatures that have powerful abilities upon entering the battlefield or that need to be saved from removal spells can make good use of Rescue. However, a better alternative to Rescue might be cards like Unsummon or Blink of an Eye, which offer similar effects but at instant speed and without the restriction of returning only permanents you control. While Rescue could see play in specific strategies, its limitations may make it less versatile compared to other options.
