About Killer Instinct

Killer Instinct, Enchantment, designed by Christopher Moeller first released in Feb, 2006 in the set Guildpact.

A deck that focuses on aggressive creature strategies, such as a Gruul or Jund midrange deck, would benefit from using Killer Instinct as it provides a consistent way to put creatures onto the battlefield with haste, potentially enabling powerful attacks and triggering enter-the-battlefield effects. While Killer Instinct can be a strong card in the right deck, there are other options like Sneak Attack or Through the Breach that offer similar effects with more flexibility and immediate impact, making them potentially better choices depending on the deck's strategy and goals. Overall, Killer Instinct could see play in specific creature-heavy decks looking to surprise opponents with sudden threats.

If the top card of your library isn’t a creature card, it remains on top of your library. You won’t have to sacrifice it at end of turn.
