A deck focused on generating Food tokens and sacrificing them for value, such as a Food-based Golgari or Jund deck in Magic: the Gathering, would benefit from including Hollow Scavenger. While there may be more efficient cards for similar effects, such as Feasting Troll King or Wicked Wolf, Hollow Scavenger could still see play in a deck looking for additional ways to utilize Food tokens for combat tricks or creature buffs.
