About Heartseeker

Heartseeker, Artifact — equipment, designed by Michael Sutfin first released in Feb, 2004 in the set Darksteel.

This card would benefit aggressive decks looking to quickly eliminate key threats on the opponent's side of the battlefield. While Heartseeker offers a powerful removal option, its high equip cost may make it less efficient than other removal spells in faster-paced decks. Cards like Sword of Feast and Famine or Sword of Fire and Ice may provide more versatile and immediate benefits, making them potentially better choices for competitive play.

Rules

12/01/04

Heartseeker grants an ability to the equipped creature. The ability can target a creature with protection from artifacts (unless the equipped creature is an artifact creature).

12/01/04

“Unattach Heartseeker” means just that — Heartseeker moves off the creature it was equipping and remains on the battlefield.
