About Haze Frog

Haze Frog, Creature — frog, designed by Jesper Ejsing first released in Apr, 2010 in the set Rise of the Eldrazi.

A deck that focuses on controlling the battlefield and disrupting combat strategies would benefit from including Haze Frog. While Haze Frog's ability to prevent all combat damage from other creatures for a turn can be useful in certain situations, there are arguably better cards with similar effects like Fog or Teferi's Protection that offer more versatility and impact. Overall, Haze Frog could see play in specific niche strategies but may not be a top choice in competitive decks.

Rules

06/15/10

Combat damage dealt by Haze Frog itself during the turn it enters the battlefield isn’t prevented. Combat damage that would be dealt by all other creatures is prevented, including creatures that weren’t on the battlefield at the time the ability resolved.
