About Haazda Snare Squad

Haazda Snare Squad, Creature — human soldier, designed by David Palumbo first released in May, 2013 in the set Dragon's Maze.

This card would be beneficial in a white weenie or aggro deck looking to control the opponent's board by tapping down key creatures during attacks. While Haazda Snare Squad offers a decent utility, a more competitive alternative could be Thalia, Guardian of Thraben which not only taxes noncreature spells but also disrupts the opponent's mana base. Whether Haazda Snare Squad sees play would largely depend on the specific strategy and meta of the deck, as it can be a situational but potentially impactful inclusion.

Rules

04/15/13

You choose the target creature when the ability triggers and goes on the stack. You choose whether to pay when that ability resolves. You may pay only once. The creature will be tapped before blockers are chosen.
