About Greed

Greed, Enchantment, designed by Phil Foglio first released in May, 2020 in the set Legends and was printed exactly in 11 different ways. It see play in 1 formats: Commander.

A deck that focuses on card advantage and doesn't mind paying life for it, such as a black control or combo deck, would benefit from including Greed. While Greed can provide a steady stream of card draw at the cost of life, there are better options like Necropotence or Phyrexian Arena that offer more efficient card advantage without the need for continuous life payment. Greed could see play in certain budget or casual decks, but in competitive settings, it may be overshadowed by more powerful card draw options.
