About Goremand

Goremand, Creature — demon, designed by Igor Kieryluk first released in Jun, 2020 in the set Core Set 2021 and was printed exactly in 4 different ways.

A deck focused on sacrificing creatures for value, such as a sacrifice or aristocrats deck, would benefit from including Goremand in their lineup. While Goremand offers a strong effect with its flying, trample, and opponent-sacrificing abilities, there are potentially better options like Grave Titan or Massacre Wurm that provide more immediate impact or value for the same mana cost. However, Goremand could still see play in certain sacrifice-themed decks looking to disrupt opponents' board states and generate incremental advantage.

Rules

06/23/20

As Goremand’s triggered ability resolves, first the next opponent in turn order (or, if it’s an opponent’s turn, the opponent whose turn it is) chooses a creature they control, then each other opponent in turn order does the same knowing the choices made before them. Then all the chosen creatures are sacrificed at the same time.
