This card would be beneficial in a Burn deck strategy, where the goal is to continuously inflict damage to the opponent. While Giant Germ can provide some advantage with its effect to Special Summon more copies from the deck, there are more efficient cards like Lava Golem or Wave-Motion Cannon that can deal more damage consistently. Therefore, Giant Germ may not be the best choice for competitive play but could be fun to use in a casual deck focused on swarming the field with multiple copies of itself.
