While there may be more efficient ramp and tutor cards available, From Beyond's unique combination of abilities could still see play in a deck looking to take advantage of Eldrazi synergies and powerful late-game threats.

Sacrificing an Eldrazi Scion creature token to add to your mana pool is a mana ability. It doesn’t use the stack and can’t be responded to.
