About Flurry of Wings

Flurry of Wings, Instant, designed by Matt Cavotta first released in Apr, 2009 in the set Alara Reborn.

This card would be beneficial in a deck that focuses on aggressive creature strategies, particularly in a Bant (Green-White-Blue) deck that aims to go wide with multiple attacking creatures. While Flurry of Wings can generate a significant number of flying tokens, it may not be as efficient as other token-generating cards like Secure the Wastes or Lingering Souls, which provide more immediate value. However, in the right deck, Flurry of Wings could still see play as a situational card for creating a sudden board presence and overwhelming the opponent with flying attackers.

Rules

05/01/09

An “attacking creature” is one that has been declared as an attacker this combat, or one that was put onto the battlefield attacking this combat. Unless that creature leaves combat, it continues to be an attacking creature through the end of combat step, even if the player it was attacking has left the game, or the planeswalker it was attacking has left combat.

05/01/09

If Flurry of Wings is cast before attackers have been declared or after combat ends, it won’t do anything.
