Essence Filter, Sorcery, designed by Rick Emond first released in Jun, 1995 in the set Ice Age and was printed exactly in 3 different ways.
This Essence Filter card would benefit a green deck that struggles against enchantments, especially those in white decks. However, a more versatile option would be the card Back to Nature, which destroys all enchantments for just 1 G. While Essence Filter can be situationally useful, Back to Nature offers a broader solution and is more likely to see play in a variety of decks due to its efficiency and effectiveness against a wider range of enchantments.
