The Erdwal Illuminator would be a great addition to a blue-based control or tempo deck that focuses on generating card advantage through investigating. While it can provide additional value by doubling up on investigations, there are potentially better cards like Tireless Tracker or Clue-creating artifacts that offer more consistent card draw. However, if the deck is built around investigating, the Erdwal Illuminator could definitely see play as a fun and synergistic option.
