A deck that focuses on ramping up quickly and efficiently, such as a green ramp deck or a landfall deck, would benefit from using Edge of Autumn as it helps to ensure consistent land drops and accelerates mana production. While Edge of Autumn is a solid card for decks that need to hit their land drops, there are potentially better options like Rampant Growth or Farseek that provide similar benefits without the restriction of controlling four or fewer lands. However, Edge of Autumn could still see play in certain decks that require additional land ramp options or want the flexibility of cycling for card draw.

Cycling is an activated ability. Effects that interact with activated abilities (such as Stifle or Rings of Brighthearth) will interact with cycling. Effects that interact with spells (such as Remove Soul or Faerie Tauntings) will not.
