About Dredge the Mire

Dredge the Mire, Sorcery, designed by Lie Setiawan first released in Apr, 2020 in the set Commander 2020 and was printed exactly in 3 different ways.

This card, Dredge the Mire, would be beneficial in a deck that focuses on graveyard interactions and reanimation strategies, such as a Black-based control or midrange deck. While Dredge the Mire can provide value by stealing creatures from opponents' graveyards, there are potentially better options like Rise from the Grave or Animate Dead that offer more consistent and powerful reanimation effects. Whether Dredge the Mire should see play would depend on the specific strategy and synergies of the deck, as well as the overall metagame dynamics.

Rules

04/17/20

As Dredge the Mire resolves, first the next opponent in turn order (or, if it’s an opponent’s turn, the opponent whose turn it is) chooses a creature card in their graveyard, then each other opponent in turn order does the same knowing the choices made before them. Then all the chosen cards are returned at the same time.
