A control-oriented deck that focuses on disrupting the opponent's plays and limiting their options would benefit from including Cold Wave. While Cold Wave can be effective at shutting down the opponent's Spell and Trap card plays for a turn, there are more versatile and impactful cards like Solemn Judgment or Mystical Space Typhoon that can provide greater utility in different situations. Cold Wave could still see situational play in specific scenarios where the temporary lockdown of Spells and Traps is critical for a strategic advantage.
