About Call to the Kindred

Call to the Kindred, Enchantment — aura, designed by Jason A. Engle first released in Feb, 2012 in the set Dark Ascension.

This card, Call to the Kindred, would be a great addition to a tribal-themed deck that focuses on a specific creature type, such as Elves, Zombies, or Merfolk, as it allows you to potentially cheat a creature onto the battlefield for free. While it can be a powerful card in the right deck, some may argue that other cards like Aether Vial or Collected Company offer more consistent and immediate value in creature-based strategies. However, for a more casual or thematic deck, Call to the Kindred could definitely see play and add an element of surprise and fun to your games.

Rules

01/22/11

The creature need only share one creature type with enchanted creature, not necessarily all of them. For example, if the enchanted creature was a Human Soldier, you could put a Human Wizard creature card, a Goblin Soldier creature card, or a Human Soldier Ally creature card onto the battlefield.
