About Braids, Conjurer Adept

Braids, Conjurer Adept, Legendary creature — human wizard, designed by Zoltan Boros & Gabor Szikszai first released in Feb, 2007 in the set Planar Chaos and was printed exactly in 6 different ways.

Braids, Conjurer Adept would be a great addition to a control or ramp deck that focuses on putting powerful permanents onto the battlefield quickly. While it can be a risky card to play due to its symmetrical effect, the potential to cheat out high-impact cards early in the game can be very powerful. However, there are better options available such as Show and Tell or Sneak Attack, which provide more control over what gets put onto the battlefield. Overall, Braids, Conjurer Adept could see play in certain niche decks, but may not be the most optimal choice in competitive settings.

Rules

Braids’s effect doesn’t count as playing a land if you put one onto the battlefield with it. You can still play a land for the turn during your main phase.
