Adventurous Eater // Have a Bite would fit best in a black-based midrange or grindy value deck that cares about incremental advantage, +1/+1 counters, or spell-copy synergies—especially in formats where “prepared” (functionally similar to foretell/adventure-style extra value) lets you squeeze two uses out of one card. The front half being a 2B creature is fine for Limited or slower Commander metas, and the back half giving a +1/+1 counter plus 1 life supports aristocrats, lifegain-matters, or +1/+1 counter shells, but the effect rate is fairly low compared to staples: cards like Tenacious Underdog, Graveyard Trespasser, or Mosswood Dreadknight provide stronger recurring value in competitive formats, while cards like Invigorating Surge, Bloodchief’s Thirst, or Sheoldred, the Apocalypse offer far more impact for similar or slightly higher investment.
