About Thunder-Thrash Elder

Thunder-Thrash Elder, Creature — lizard warrior, designed by Brandon Kitkouski first released in Oct, 2008 in the set Shards of Alara and was printed exactly in 3 different ways.

This Thunder-Thrash Elder card could be beneficial in a red aggressive deck that focuses on sacrificing creatures for value and overwhelming the opponent with large creatures quickly. While it offers potential for a strong board presence with its Devour ability, it may not be as efficient as other cards like Thunderblust, which provides immediate impact with its haste ability and can deal damage to the opponent right away. Thunder-Thrash Elder could still see play in specific decks looking to capitalize on sacrificing creatures for a powerful late-game threat.

Rules

10/01/08

You may choose not to sacrifice any creatures for the Devour ability.

10/01/08

You may sacrifice only creatures that are already on the battlefield. If a creature with devour and another creature are entering the battlefield under your control at the same time, the creature with devour can’t devour that other creature. The creature with devour also can’t devour itself.
