Gluttonous Slime, Creature — ooze, designed by Trevor Claxton first released in Feb, 2009 in the set Conflux and was printed exactly in 3 different ways.
The Gluttonous Slime card could be beneficial in a green-based ramp or midrange deck that focuses on sacrificing creatures for value. While the Flash ability allows for surprise blocks or attacks, the Devour mechanic can quickly grow the Slime into a formidable threat. However, there are potentially better options like Mycoloth or Endrek Sahr, Master Breeder that offer more consistent value and synergy in sacrifice-themed decks, making Gluttonous Slime less likely to see play in competitive Magic: the Gathering formats.
