Ride's End would be beneficial in a white control deck that focuses on tapping down opponent's creatures or vehicles to take advantage of its cost reduction. While it offers a versatile removal option, there are arguably better cards like Swords to Plowshares or Path to Exile that provide more efficient removal at a lower cost. However, Ride's End could still see play in certain metagames where tapping permanents is a prevalent strategy.
