About Heroes' Bane

Heroes' Bane, Creature — hydra, designed by Volkan Baǵa first released in May, 2020 in the set Magic Online Promos and was printed exactly in 10 different ways.

A deck focused on +1/+1 counters and creature buffs would benefit from including Heroes' Bane in its strategy, as it can quickly grow in power with its ability to add more counters based on its current power. However, there are potentially better cards for similar strategies, such as Kalonian Hydra, which not only enters with more counters but also has trample and doubles the number of +1/+1 counters on all creatures you control at the beginning of combat. While Heroes' Bane can be a powerful threat if left unchecked, it may struggle to compete with more impactful options in a competitive environment.

Rules
