About Asceticism

Asceticism, Enchantment, designed by Daarken first released in Oct, 2010 in the set Scars of Mirrodin and was printed exactly in 3 different ways. It see play in 1 formats: Commander.

Asceticism would be a valuable addition to a green-based creature-heavy deck looking to protect its creatures from targeted removal spells and board wipes. While Asceticism provides excellent protection with hexproof and regeneration abilities, it faces competition from cards like Heroic Intervention, which offers a similar effect at a lower mana cost and instant speed, making it a more versatile and efficient choice for many decks. However, Asceticism could still see play in decks that prioritize creature resilience and protection over mana efficiency.
