Forge Devil, Creature — devil, designed by Austin Hsu first released in May, 2020 in the set Dark Ascension and was printed exactly in 5 different ways. It see play in 1 formats: Brawl.
A red aggressive deck that aims to control the board by removing small creatures and applying pressure early on would benefit from including Forge Devil in its strategy. While Forge Devil can be useful in certain situations, there are arguably better cards like Shock or Lightning Bolt that offer more flexibility and efficiency in dealing damage without hurting yourself. Overall, Forge Devil could see situational play in specific metagames or sideboard slots, but may not be a staple card in most competitive decks.

Forge Devil’s ability is mandatory. If it’s the only creature on the battlefield, you’ll have to choose it as the target and have it deal 1 damage to itself and 1 damage to you.
