Rotting Rats, Creature — zombie rat, designed by Dave Allsop first released in Feb, 2009 in the set Conflux and was printed exactly in 2 different ways.
This card would be beneficial in a black-based control or graveyard recursion deck, as it provides value by making each player discard a card upon entering the battlefield and can be brought back from the graveyard with Unearth for additional disruption. While Rotting Rats can be a useful tool in certain strategies, there are potentially better options like Liliana's Specter, which also makes opponents discard upon entering and has flying, offering more versatility and evasion. Ultimately, the decision to include Rotting Rats in a deck would depend on the specific synergies and strategies of the deck in question.

When Rotting Rats’s enters-the-battlefield ability resolves, first the player whose turn it is chooses a card to discard, then each other player in turn order does the same, then all cards are discarded at the same time. No one sees what the other players are discarding before deciding which card to discard.
