Grave Pact, Enchantment, designed by Scott Kirschner first released in Mar, 1998 in the set Stronghold and was printed exactly in 15 different ways. It see play in 1 formats: Commander.
A deck that focuses on sacrificing its own creatures for value, such as a Black sacrifice deck or a token-based strategy, would benefit from Grave Pact as it can create a strong board advantage by forcing opponents to sacrifice their creatures. While Grave Pact is a powerful card in these strategies, some may argue that Dictate of Erebos is a better option as it has flash and can catch opponents off guard. However, Grave Pact is still a strong choice and should definitely see play in decks looking to capitalize on sacrificing creatures for value.
