A control deck that focuses on stealing key artifacts, creatures, or enchantments from opponents would benefit from using Kefnet's Last Word, as it provides a powerful tempo swing while disrupting the opponent's game plan. However, cards like Control Magic or Treachery may be considered better options due to their lower mana cost and lack of downside. Kefnet's Last Word could still see play in specific metagames where its unique effect is particularly strong, but in general, it may not be a top choice for competitive decks.

Gaining control of a creature doesn’t cause you to gain control of any Auras or Equipment attached to it. They’ll remain attached, but an Aura’s effect that affects “you” still affects its controller rather than you, the controller of an Equipment can move it during their next main phase, and so on.
