While it can be a powerful tool in disrupting your opponent's strategy, there are potentially better options like Cyclonic Rift, which offers a more versatile and impactful board wipe effect. However, Arm with Aether could still see play in specific metas or decks looking for a more budget-friendly alternative to achieve a similar effect.

Only creatures you control on the battlefield when Arm with Aether resolves gain the ability. Creatures you gain control of later in the turn won’t be affected.
