A new international poster for Avengers: Doomsday brings together some of the Marvel Cinematic Universe’s biggest heroes as they battle the Sentinels. The artwork also spotlights Doctor Doom, played by Robert Downey Jr., amid a clash involving characters from different universes.

The heroes featured include Sam Wilson’s Captain America, Mister Fantastic, Cyclops, Yelena Belova’s Black Widow, Thor, Professor X, the Winter Soldier, Steve Rogers, Loki, Gambit and Shuri’s Black Panther. In the background, the ruins of Xavier’s School for Gifted Youngsters loom beneath a sky that hints at a possible multiversal incursion.

Loki’s presence stands out, raising questions about his role in the story, especially after the events of the second season of his Disney+ series. However, the lineup shown on the poster does not confirm that all the heroes will fight together. Promotional artwork does not necessarily depict specific events from the film.

Directed by Anthony and Joe Russo, who helmed Avengers: Infinity War and Avengers: Endgame, Avengers: Doomsday will bring together different generations of Marvel heroes. The film will also feature characters from the Fantastic Four and the X-Men, including the return of Patrick Stewart as Professor X and James Marsden as Cyclops.

Avengers: Doomsday opens on December 17, 2026.
