Seu Jorge, Noah Schnapp and David Mazouz have joined the cast of the thriller Stealing From Pablo, a film inspired by real events from the 1980s involving a Pablo Escobar property in Florida.The story follows Red, a teenager in foster care. Alongside his best friend Dylan, he organizes a secret skate session at what appears to be an abandoned mansion.The discovery changes everything: the house belongs to Pablo Escobar. The two boys find themselves caught up in the Colombian drug lord's violent empire and at the center of a conflict between Escobar's calculating accountant and one of his top assassins.Stealing From Pablo was written and will be directed by Carlos V. Gutierrez. It is being produced by FJ Productions, a Brazilian company that also operates in Los Angeles. The project had already been in development before the cast was announced.The film reunites Seu Jorge and Noah Schnapp. They previously worked together on Abe, released in 2019 and directed by Fernando Grostein Andrade. In the film, Schnapp played a boy with a passion for cooking, while the Brazilian artist portrayed chef Chico. FJ Productions was also involved in that feature.David Mazouz, known for Gotham, rounds out the announced cast. The roles of Seu Jorge, Noah Schnapp and Mazouz in the new film have not yet been revealed.Stealing From Pablo also has no release date yet.
