Nintendo has published a list of major third-party games scheduled for the Nintendo Switch 2 from 2026 onward. The announced titles include Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 4, Elden Ring: Tarnished Edition and Final Fantasy VII Revelation.The update accompanied the company’s financial information released on 7 August 2026. According to Nintendo, the Switch 2 will have more games in its first year than the original Nintendo Switch, while other projects remain in development.The schedule includes releases across several genres. EA Sports Madden NFL 27 is scheduled for 13 August 2026, followed by Metal Gear Solid: Master Collection Vol. 2 on 27 August and Elden Ring: Tarnished Edition on 28 August.September’s lineup includes Onimusha: Way of the Sword on 4 September and One Piece: Grand Gourmet on 23 September. October will bring Dragon’s Dogma 2: Dark Arisen on the 9th, followed by Tales of Eternia Remastered on 16 October.Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 4 arrives on Switch 2 on 23 October 2026. The game marks the series’ debut on Nintendo’s new platform and is part of the agreement between Nintendo and Microsoft to bring the Call of Duty experience to the console.The list also includes Dragon Quest Monsters: The Withered World, scheduled for 3 December, along with Fitness Boxing 3: Nintendo Switch 2 Edition and Professor Layton and The New World of Steam, which do not yet have specified release dates. Final Fantasy VII Revelation is expected in the second quarter of 2027.Other games were mentioned as possible releases for the console during its first year, including Cyberpunk 2077, titles from the Street Fighter and Yakuza series, Persona 3 Reload, Resident Evil Requiem, Final Fantasy VII Remake Intergrade and The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion Remastered.
