About Yamata Dragon

Yamata Dragon, Dragon spirit monster, designed by Konami first released in Jun, 2022 in the set Dark Beginning 2.

The Yamata Dragon card would be beneficial in a deck that focuses on drawing cards and maintaining hand advantage, such as a draw engine or a control-oriented deck. While its effect of drawing cards upon inflicting battle damage is powerful, the drawback of returning to the hand during the End Phase limits its usability. There are better cards available that provide similar benefits without the drawback, such as Pot of Greed or Graceful Charity, making Yamata Dragon less optimal for competitive play in most cases.
