This card could be beneficial in a red aggressive deck looking to pump up its creatures or weaken opposing threats for a strategic advantage. However, there are more versatile cards available in the Magic: The Gathering universe that offer similar effects with additional benefits, such as Lightning Bolt for direct damage or Lightning Helix for both damage and lifegain. While Tormentor Exarch may have situational uses, it may not be a top choice for competitive play compared to other more impactful cards.
