Thrilling Encore is particularly beneficial in a reanimation or sacrifice-themed deck, especially one that utilizes cards that can generate value from sacrificing creatures or that can bring creatures back from the graveyard. Decks that focus on token generation or have high-impact creatures that can be sacrificed for value (like those in a Golgari or Aristocrats build) would benefit greatly from this card, as it allows for a sudden swing in board presence. While there are other reanimation spells, such as Living Death, which can serve a similar purpose but affect all creatures, Thrilling Encore's ability to specifically target creatures that died this turn can create explosive plays in the right scenarios. In a multiplayer game, if a player leaves the game, all cards that player owns leave as well. If you leave the game, all creatures put onto the battlefield with Thrilling Encore that you controlled but didn’t own are exiled.
