About Sedge Sliver

Sedge Sliver, Creature — sliver, designed by Richard Kane Ferguson first released in Oct, 2006 in the set Time Spiral and was printed exactly in 4 different ways.

A deck that benefits from Sedge Sliver would be a Sliver tribal deck with a strong emphasis on black mana sources, as controlling Swamps will boost the power and toughness of all Sliver creatures. While Sedge Sliver can be useful in a Sliver deck focused on regeneration, there may be better options like Crystalline Sliver or Gemhide Sliver which provide more versatile or powerful abilities, so Sedge Sliver may not see as much play in competitive settings.

Rules

03/19/21

Because damage remains marked on a creature until the damage is removed as the turn ends, nonlethal damage dealt to a Sliver may become lethal if Sedge Sliver leaves the battlefield during that turn.

07/01/13

Abilities that Slivers grant, as well as power/toughness boosts, are cumulative. However, for some abilities, like flying, having more than one instance of the ability doesn’t provide any additional benefit.
