Reverence, Enchantment, designed by Ittoku first released in Jun, 2005 in the set Saviors of Kamigawa.
This card, Reverence, would be beneficial in a control deck that aims to stall the game and prevent early aggression from low-power creatures. However, there are better options like Ghostly Prison or Sphere of Safety that provide similar effects more efficiently and universally, making Reverence less likely to see play in competitive Magic: the Gathering decks.
