Renata, Called to the Hunt would be a great addition to a mono-green devotion deck in Magic: the Gathering, where the focus is on playing multiple green permanents to increase devotion and boost Renata's power. While Renata's ability to give other creatures +1/+1 counters is valuable, there are stronger options like Vorinclex, Monstrous Raider, which not only provides a similar effect but also hinders opponents' resources. Renata could still see play in casual or thematic decks, but for competitive play, other options may be more optimal.

The permanent with that ability will be counted if it’s still on the battlefield at that time.
