Reign of the Pit, Sorcery, designed by Evan Shipard first released in Jun, 2014 in the set Conspiracy and was printed exactly in 4 different ways.
A deck focused on sacrificing creatures for value, such as a Golgari or Rakdos Sacrifice deck in Magic: the Gathering, would benefit from including Reign of the Pit. However, there are better cards with similar effects like Plaguecrafter or Liliana, Dreadhorde General that provide more consistent value and board control. Reign of the Pit could see play in more casual or themed decks, but may not be optimal for competitive play due to its high mana cost and situational nature.

You choose which creature you are sacrificing first, then each other player in turn order does the same. The creatures are all sacrificed simultaneously.
