About Prison Term

Prison Term, Enchantment — aura, designed by Zoltan Boros & Gabor Szikszai first released in May, 2008 in the set Shadowmoor and was printed exactly in 5 different ways.

A control deck focused on slowing down the opponent's creature-based strategy would benefit from using Prison Term in Magic: the Gathering. While Prison Term can be effective in certain situations, there are better alternatives like Detention Sphere or Banishing Light that offer more flexibility and removal options. Prison Term could see play in specific metas where its ability to attach to new creatures is advantageous, but overall, it may not be a top choice in competitive decks.

Rules

The last ability works only if Prison Term is already on the battlefield. You may move it from the creature it’s currently enchanting onto the new creature.
