About Poisonbelly Ogre

Poisonbelly Ogre, Creature — ogre warrior, designed by Zoltan Boros & Gabor Szikszai first released in Feb, 2006 in the set Guildpact.

This Poisonbelly Ogre card would be a great fit for a black-based aggressive deck that focuses on swarming the battlefield with multiple creatures to quickly drain the opponent's life total. However, a potentially better alternative could be the Blood Artist card, which not only drains life from the opponent when creatures enter the battlefield but also gains you life in the process, providing additional value. Whether Poisonbelly Ogre should see play would depend on the specific strategy and synergy of the deck, but its ability to pressure the opponent's life total could make it a viable option in the right build.

Rules

02/01/06
