Phantom Flock would be a great addition to a white-based control or midrange deck that focuses on stalling the game and outlasting opponents. Its ability to prevent damage and its flying ability make it a resilient threat that can be difficult for opponents to deal with. While there may be more powerful cards in certain situations, Phantom Flock's ability to consistently protect itself and grow in power over time makes it a solid choice for decks looking to control the board and win through attrition.

If this card takes damage from multiple sources at once (for example if it is blocked by multiple creatures in combat), it only loses one counter.

Remove one counter each time it would be damaged. If it was going to take more than one point of damage, you prevent all the damage and still only remove one counter.
